Tim Brazeal Biography

Tim BrazealA Texas native, Tim relocated to Tennessee in the early 90's and is one of the most significant figures in the history of science fiction fandom. A longtime fan since the mid 70's, he is known for his unrelenting efforts to save StarLA Rally Star Trek Rally Trek: Enterprise from cancellation , attempting to secure a fifth season for the series by rallying  the fans to fund the show. From his website (trekunited.com), he raised over 3 million dollars in just in under two months, the largest amount of money ever raised by a fan group in support of a television series.

Although the studio that produces Enterprise turned down the funds, the efforts continued on in many other ways. Brazeal headed up worldwide rallies in support of Star Trek to prove to the networks that the show and franchise were still viable and had a large audience. He personally led the Los Angeles rally at the front gates of Paramount Studios, with hundreds of fans attending in support of the franchise. Other rallies were held in New York, Utah, Texas, Chicago, Nevada, Germany, London, Canada, Australia and Tel Aviv.
